JULY
1. My love got his first job! yay!:D and he had to moved to KL since he was working here.So now we spend most of our time together (seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, months) I think the only time we separated is when we went to work or meeting up with our friends.hehe.Am so happy i got a companion now whenever im coming home over the weekend (no more sleepy driving!its very dangerous!).Oh yes we lived and grew up in the same hometown. In fact our family house were so nearby and was only separated by the main road (we can reach each other house in 1-2 minutes by car with clear roads,5-10minutes walking distance) yes that near! but that's NOT how we got to know each other in the first place:) We're totally in two different worlds back then.
2. A trip to Sarawak for the Rainforest World Music Festival 2011! This is when the musicians all over the world gather and perform. From Middle East,Malaysia,Ireland,Canada,Britain,India,US..u name it..I went there with my former university classmates (bout 15 people) and we stayed in Grand Margherita Hotel in Kuching. The festival was held 3 nights in a row but we only bought tickets for 2 nights (2 nights partying back to back is adequate enough). To reach there, all the hotels in Kuching who took part in this festival will provide a shuttle bus for their guests so it was quite convenient for us. During the days we just went around town, finding the best makan place ('eat place') and shopped for souvenirs to bring back home. If ever u go to Sarawak one day, please dont ever forget to try their Laksa Sarawak (sort of noodles with spicy gravy/soup) and buy their special delicacies of desserts layered cakes ('kek lapis'). I bought 3 cadbury chocolates layered cakes, 2 blueberry & cheese and another one with lots of colourful rainbow colours which i couldnt recall the name of it:p Over all I do enjoyed the trip so much, went there with my former classmates means a lot...cuz i thought all will be too busy building our career path after we graduated. But im glad we still do keep in touch untill now:)
3. Company trip to Hong Kong and Macau! Yes 2nd trip in a row in the same month!! What i enjoyed the most in HK was of course the shopping! We did dropped by at Disneyland HK for a whole day! Not bad, it did bring me some of my childhood memories! :D That aside...we also met with the stars at Madame Tussauds House of Wax. On the third day, we boating off to Macau. For me Macau is more like enjoying the scenery or sight-seeing since they only got their sovereignty in 1999 from the Portuguese Republic. So most of the buildings and places were influenced by the Portugal/Italian touch.Seriously i dont feel like im in one of the China states but instead i felt like i was in one of the Europe country. Macau was actually famous for their gambling place that even it was called an "Asian Las Vegas". At night most of the casinos buildings would light up exactly the same like Las Vegas city. But i dont gamble:) So for those who enjoyed gambling, this city would be a gambling paradise for them.
