For those who celebrates Chinese New Year i would like to wish you Xin Nian Kuai Le! For me CNY means a long break for me from work..still it feels too short for me to shout Horrayyy..will be going back to KL tomorrow night:(
This festive season break ive been baking and making dishes! Considered that i do not have an oven and complete kitchen utensils back in kl, this is the only time i would bake and cook for my ownself n for my family.
1 tablespoon buttercup
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 apple (peeled & sliced)
1 or 2 slice fruit bread/white bread (toasted)
honey syrup
Methods: Fry the butter on the pan with grounded cinnamon. Add apple slices and fry it for a few minutes until the apple turns brown. Once cooked, pour it onto bread (that already toast) and lastly pour the honey syrup.

For Cake
2 eggs
3/4 cups vegetable oil
1 cups white sugar
1 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoons baking powder
A pinch of salt
1 teaspoons ground cinnamon
2 cups grated carrots
1 cup chopped pecans/almonds
3/4 cups vegetable oil
1 cups white sugar
1 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoons baking powder
A pinch of salt
1 teaspoons ground cinnamon
2 cups grated carrots
1 cup chopped pecans/almonds
For Frosting
1/2 cup buttercup
8 ounces cream cheese
3 cups confectioners/granulated sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup chopped pecans/almonds
Methods: Beat all the cake ingredients in a large bowl and add grated carrots together with pecans/almonds. Pour the mixture into pan and bake for 45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. Cool it off for 10 minutes before frosting. For frosting, beat all the ingredients in another bowl and add the pecans/almonds together with the mixture.Once done it is ready to be frost on the cake:)
