A trip to BANDUNG



On July 24th i went to Bandung Indonesia for a Holiday. I took 2 days leave from work and back to my homeland on 27th so altogether its a 4 days holiday. Though it was such a short holiday, it was a great experience for me as the place is well known for its 'shopping heaven' to those shopaholic out there, where else compared to Bali, it was more famous for lovebirds&honey-mooners.

Being here in Bandung makes me feel soo at ease as people here is nuthin much different to the people back in my homeland as we came from the same origin. Our langguage is only slightly different but pretty much the same. The people there is super friendly and in terms of food, it was a great pleasure for me to try their delicious delicacies such as Nasi Padang@Simpang Raya and Masakan Sunda@Sambara.

For shopping destination i went to Jalan Dago and Jalan Riau which fills with fashion houses all along the street and corners. While for specific handbags and jeans i have to go to another location. Besides that I even dropped by at their famous bakery shop called Kartika Sari which is famous for their different types of brownies, bolen pisang, muffins, cakes and other yummylicious confectioneries.(just got to know that Kartika Sari was listed in the 'lonely planet' must visit place in Bandung!wow the Bandung ppl must be so proud.)

Too busy shopping for myself and for the people back home, i forgot to snap proper pics :( hence that explains the lack of photos (or almost none).

Oh well, nevermind...im making plans to go there again early next year!:D This time around i'll be a real camwhore! *winks*
